Wine Taster's Dinner:

Confluence 2009 will unfold with a “Wine Taster’s Dinner”
Friday evening, February 13th hosted by Fred Gunton (bio).

A four-course dinner paired with the appropriate
wine, candlelight, and roses will be served.

WINE TASTER’S DINNER MENU

Starter
Warm Brie in Pastry with grapes
Baguette Slices
Wine pairing: LaVelle Pinot Gris

Salad
Baby lettuce with Mandarin oranges
Dried cranberries and toasted almonds
Raspberry Vinaigrette
Wine pairing: LaVelle Dry Rose of Gamay

Main Course
Filet Mignon with balsamic sautéed mushrooms
Sautéed garlic prawns
Wild rice pilaf
Vegetable
Artisan breads and rolls
Wine pairing: LaVelle Pinot Noir

Dessert
New York Style Cheesecake
With a drizzle of warm Chocolate ganache
Topped with sparkling of dried cherries
Wine pairing: LaVelle Riesling
 

Seating will be limited to 70 people with tickets moderately priced at $65 a person.

This will be a semi-formal affair that’s sure to please every palette.
