Why the name “Confluence?”

Within Coastal Douglas County on the Oregon Coast, there is a confluence:  "the flowing together of two rivers or more rivers.” That intersection occurs at Gardiner,  just two miles north of Reedsport.  The word confluence is also used to describe “a coming or flowing together, meeting, or gathering at one point.”  This event gathers wine, beer, seafood, and music together under one roof.

Hence the name: Confluence.

*Admission: 21 years and older
